Albert Ronald Patenaude

After a battle with COVID meningoencephalitis, and with his wife and daughter by his side, Albert passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023, at the age of 63.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Marie Gauthier-Patenaude and his daughter Natalie; his siblings Douglas (Pam Reid), David (Monique), Susan (Kelly Remus), Patty (Darcy Dunlop), Michael, Robert; his brothers and sisters-in-law Jeannine (Maurice Blanchette), Maurice Gauthier (Jaqueline), Sandra Gauthier-Huyghebaert, Michel Gauthier (Tammy), Monique Gauthier (Charles Henaire); and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Albert Sr. (2003), and his mother, Mary (2016).

Albert’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church in Portage la Prairie (15 Tupper St. South), led by Wilma Shirriff. The service will be live streamed, see link below. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

We are grateful for the outstanding medical care Albert received at the Portage District General Hospital and the Saint-Boniface Hospital, and for the compassion shown towards him and his family.
