Adele Woodward (nee Hebert)
With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Adele Woodward on Saturday, August 23, 2014 in the Salem Personal Care Home, Winkler, MB at the age of 79 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Woodward; grandson Marc; brothers Leon and Henri; sisters Novia, Anna, Yvette, Jeanne, Cecile, Helene and Leona and parents Herve and Maria Hebert.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, Marie (John) Roels of Gilbert Plains, Irene Woodward of Portage la Prairie and Clifford Woodward of Portage la Prairie; grandchildren, Katrina (Rick), Tamara (Chad), Shantal (Jason), Shawn (Rebecca), Cody, Sabrina (Calvin) and Scott, Jerale, Juran and Bryce; great grandchildren, Kassandra, Anthony, Trevor, Brooke, William, Gage, Rhada, Sasha and Aiden. She also leaves behind her sisters Olive (George), Louise (the late Abe) and Rose, all of Winnipeg; many nieces, nephews and their families as well as many close friends. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation and viewing will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm. A Celebration of Adele’s Life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 11:30 am. Interment will take place at the Rossendale Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Adele’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 108 B Saskatchewan, Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0L1.
