Paula passed away peacefully at her home in Portage la Prairie, MB on August 17, 2022 at the age of 70 years.

Paula will be lovingly remembered by her roommates, Shirley Cockroft and Ruby Peters, and all the staff who knew and supported her throughout the years. She will also be missed by her many friends, including Phyllis Richard, Kelly Urquhart, Patricia Endall and Kenny Jarvie.

Paula moved into the community with Visions of Independence from MDC at the age of 59 years, having lived there since she was 6 years old.

Paula adored people and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always willing to try new things, and enjoyed camping, flower gardens, music, coffee, and shopping. She loved having her hair and nails done, especially if it involved her favorite colours.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at McKenzies Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie, MB, with viewing prior to the service.

Her voice is still but she says so much
Her humor wicked
She got all the jokes
Giggles and clapping
She let you know
Loved to go shopping

Something about her just made you smile
No one got to you like her
She was so very sweet
She stays in your heart
