Marilyn Davey

Marilyn Joan Davey passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home in Portage la Prairie, MB.

She is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Dr. Rev. James Davey, children Sharon Elaine Morrison of Portage la Prairie, MB and Tim (Janis) Davey of Saskatoon, SK, grandchildren Allison and Ashley, siblings Wayne (Anita)  Stainton, Warren (Pearl) Stainton and Kevin (Brenda) Stainton, as well as extended family Austin, Annika, Kai, Brinley, and Charles Morrison.

She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Rhoda Stainton, sister Donna Lazenby and seven angel grandbabies.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

A service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Portage First Baptist Church with Cecil Brown officiating. Private family interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
