Leo Andrew Peters

On June 16, 2024, Leo Peters entered the Spirit World in Edmonton, AB at the age of 65 years.

Leo was predeceased by his son Anthony; his mother Mary Peters (Starr); his father Tony Nelson and brothers Clarence and Walter. 

He leaves to mourn his wife, Selma; daughters Andrea and Jessica; sons Nathan, Jason and Leon; sisters Leona Peters and Grace Lavallee along with many grandchildren and one great grandson.

Leo spent his entire life working as a roofer and worked up until 3 weeks prior to his passing. He loved the Winnipeg Jets and loved watching golf as well as golfing himself. Leo cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

A traditional wake will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 4:00 pm. Traditional feast and service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at noon. Burial to follow at the Long Plain Cemetery.
